Guest Speaker

John Coyne

Intel head of global brand strategy, creative, and media

John Coyne is the head of brand strategy, creative, and media at Intel. He oversees strategy for global branding, brand and product identity, global content creation, and more. Before joining Intel in 2017, John shared his talents at Adobe, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and BBDO, partnering with companies like HP, Cisco, and Apple — and winning several awards for his team’s work, like UK’s Campaign Magazine’s Global Advertiser of the Year (2001) and Creativity Magazine’s Campaign of the Year (2002). John finds creative inspiration outside of work when spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also gets out to ride his bike every chance he gets around his home in the Bay Area.

Inspiration won’t come knocking without an invitation.

If your creative team hasn’t been as inspired or motivated lately, you don’t have to wait around for that creative block to go away. John Coyne, head of global brand strategy and creative at Intel, has some tips on how to build a company culture that fosters creativity.

In this episode of Real Creative Leadership, John shares those tips with host Adam Morgan, like why — and how — to reward risk-takers and respect everyone as decision-makers.
